《文化與技術三部曲》是一個自 2023 年啟動、跨越創作、田野、策展與書寫的長期研究案。核心論點是：文化是每個社會的基底，技術是這個基底的當代載體；矽谷的 AI 是反文化理想的商品化，新竹的晶片是冷戰救國方案的延命，深圳的獨角獸是新移民以量取勝的創造性社會主義之城，這些不是經濟或政治單獨能解釋的差異。
研究以舊金山／矽谷、新竹／臺灣、深圳三個全球 IT 節點為核心，並以大眾南方（印度 IT、菲律賓 BPO、越南台資、MCN 出海）作為陰影對照貫穿。目前完成兩部紀錄片：《個人計算機與反文化》（矽谷章）與《世界工廠：深圳，一座現實主義創新城市》（深圳章），並以《文化與技術三部曲》為題入圍第 24 屆台新藝術獎視覺藝術類（2025／26 年度，選自《基進城市》@ 新北市美術館，評選主筆周伶芝）。
作品同時於兩場聯展展出：《基進城市》@ 新北市美術館（2025.04.25–09.07，策展：謝豐嶸、鄭慧華）與《帶電的孩子》第八屆國際跨媒體藝術節 @ 上海油罐藝術中心（2025.10.17–30，策展：閔罕）。2026–2027 進入專書寫作階段，完成導論、矽谷章、臺灣章、深圳章與大眾南方批判結論。
Culture and Technology: A Trilogy is a long-term research project initiated in 2023, spanning documentary filmmaking, fieldwork, exhibition, and writing. Its core thesis: culture is the substrate of every society; technology is the substrate's contemporary carrier. Silicon Valley's AI is the commodification of countercultural ideals; Hsinchu's semiconductor industry is the prolongation of a Cold War salvation project; Shenzhen's unicorns embody a creative socialism built by new migrants through sheer scale — differences that cannot be explained by economics or politics alone.
The project centers on three global IT nodes — San Francisco/Silicon Valley, Hsinchu/Taiwan, and Shenzhen — with the Greater South (Indian IT, Philippine BPO, Vietnamese Taiwanese-capital factories, MCN expansion into Southeast Asia) running through all three chapters as a shadow counterpoint. Two documentaries are completed: Personal Computers and Counterculture (Silicon Valley chapter) and World Factory: Shenzhen, A City of Realist Innovation (Shenzhen chapter). The trilogy was nominated for the 24th Taishin Arts Award in the Visual Arts category (2025/26), via its presentation at Radical City (New Taipei City Art Museum); chief reviewer: Chou Ling-Chih.
The work was featured in two group exhibitions: Radical City at New Taipei City Art Museum (2025-04-25 – 2025-09-07; curators: Hsieh Feng-Rong, Cheng Hui-Hua) and Electrified Kids, the 8th International Intermedia Art Festival at Tank Shanghai (2025-10-17 – 2025-10-30; curator: Min Han). From 2026 to 2027, the project enters its writing phase to complete the introduction, Silicon Valley chapter, Taiwan chapter, Shenzhen chapter, and Greater South critical conclusion.
