The trial issue of ACID, the academic journal of INS, published in 2023. The subtitle, "When There is No Longer Any Love, There is No Longer Any Philia," is drawn from the introduction to Bernard Stiegler's unpublished manuscript for the fourth volume of Technics and Time. In his editorial "The Accelerated Commune in Dying," Huang Sun-Quan defines ACID as a critical academic commune positioned against both the Hangzhou Ideology and the California Ideology. The issue brings together five thematic papers selected from the 7th Annual Conference on Network Society, nine general research articles, and one book review.
